PURPOSE: A magnetite microsized magnetic sorbent coated with silica and a manufacturing method of the same are provided to rapidly separate absorbed materials on the basis of magnetism and to be used for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a magnetite microsized magnetic sorbent coated with silica includes the following steps: ammonium ferrous sulphate(hexahydrate)((NH_4)2Fe(SO_4)_2·6H_2O), hexamethylene tetraamine, and sodium fluoride(NaF) are dissolved in distilled water; the dissolved product is homogenized, stirred, and mixed to prepare primary reacted liquid; distilled water is added into the primary reacted liquid to prepare secondary reacted liquid; the secondary reacted liquid is heated and dried in an oven to prepare suspension; the suspension undergoes ultrasound wave treatment, magnetism-based separation, and centrifugation using distilled water and ethanol. The separated product after the centrifugation is dried in an oven to generate magnetite microsized particles; ammonia water, deionized water, and isopropyl alcohol are added into the magnetite microsized particles to be homogenized, stirred, and mixed; tetraethyl orthosilicate(TEOS) is added into the mixture is hydrolyzed condensed on the surface of the microsized particles; and the resultant product is washed with ethanol and is dried. |
