PURPOSE: An error compensation method of a constant voltage mode tap instruction system is provided to prevent the instruction error of the tap instruction system because an error which is generated by a line resistance variation can be compensated. CONSTITUTION: A 1~3 terminal voltage value is inputted. Whether an existing voltage is same with the 1~3 terminal voltage value is determined. If the 1~3 terminal voltage value is not same with the existing voltage as the determined result, a new mapping table is reset with reference to a value which is obtained by dividing the 1~3 terminal voltage value by the maximum number of tap. A tap which corresponds to 1~2 terminal voltage value is indicated by using the reset mapping table.
