PURPOSE: A water purifying device for an aquarium is provided to be stably installed in the water bath of an aquarium regardless of the restriction of a water bath height. CONSTITUTION: A water purifying device for an aquarium comprises a main body (10), an underwater motor (30), a vortex container (40), a purified water sucking pipe (50), and an underwater connecting pipe (20). The main body comprises a water inlet (15), a purified water outlet, and a bubble discharging pipe (16) which discharges impurity containing bubbles. The water inlet of the main body is in connection with a water inlet (32) of the underwater motor. The underwater motor comprises a discharging pipe (34) which discharges the mixture of water and air. The mixture is crashed on the inner wall of the vortex container and generates vortex. Impurities are collected in air bubbles by the vortex. The lower side of the purified water sucking pipe is lower than the discharging position of air bubbles from the vortex container. The underwater connecting pipe comprises one branched pipe (21) and an upper extended part (25). The one branched pipe is in connection with the water inlet of the main body. The upper extended part is upwardly extended from the lateral side of the main body. |
