<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit for an air conditioner simplifying a position detection means of air filters on a premise that an air filter automatic cleaner is provided and contributing to improvement of assembling work efficiency and cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: In an indoor unit for an air conditioner, indoor air is sucked and made to flow in air filters F, and after dust included in the indoor air is collected by the air filters F, the indoor air exchanges heat with a heat exchanger and is blown out to the indoor side again as heat exchange air. A plurality of air filters F are juxtaposed leaving a gap, and each of the air filters F is supported movably along a predetermined trajectory. A position detection device K is provided in the gap between the air filters F. The position detection device K includes a detector 31 corresponding to each air filter F and one switch part 32, and detects positions of the plurality of air filters F simultaneously. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
