PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular jack which can be secured to a mount substrate and enables price reduction. SOLUTION: A modular jack 1 has a connector insertion part 3, a terminal holding part 4, a cover 5, a metal case 6, and a metal pin 7. A lift prevention piece 35 having an arm part 35B and a base 35A is provided at a portion which is a part of an outer side surface 32A of a side wall 32 composing the connector insertion part 3 and connects with a lower wall 31. The metal pin 7 penetrates through a pin penetration hole 35b of the base 35A and is fixed to the base 35A. A head 71 of the metal pin 7 is pressed by a head pressing part 66 of the metal case 6.
