The present invention relates to a heterophasic propylene polymer composition, comprising a matrix comprising a propylene homo- and/or copolymer, and an elastomeric ethylene/alpha-olefin phase dispersed in the matrix, the heterophasic propylene polymer composition comprising monomer units derived from an oligomeric diene compound, having a p-xylene cold soluble fraction (XCS) of less than 45 wt.%, determined at 23 °C according to ISO 6427, a MFR (2.16 kg, 230 °C, ISO 1133) of more than 1.0 to 15 g/10min., a flexural modulus, determined according to according to ISO 178 of not more than 500 MPa, and a relationship between flexural modulus (FM) and the p-xylene cold soluble fraction (XCS) of the composition fulfilling the following equation: FM [MPa] + 13.3 [MPa/wt.%] * XCS [wt.%] < 800 [MPa]. The present invention further relates to a process for the production of the heterophasic propylene polymer composition and its use for extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding, injection stretch blow moulding, cast film extrusion, blown film extrusion or thermoforming. |
