PURPOSE: A method for providing a service of combining user selection type items and a server thereof are provided to increase the expectation of users for obtaining high class items. CONSTITUTION: One or more items, which are consumed corresponding to the information about a first item, are determined (S10). An item registration menu with slots capable of registering a determined item and the information about the determined item which is registered per slot are transmitted to a user terminal (S20). Registration input of items corresponding to the slots is received from the user terminal (S30). A winning item is registered in a user item database according to the winning probabilities of a plurality of winning items which includes the first item (S40).
