PURPOSE: A lamp control system using a smart phone is provided to enable the lamp control and status checking from the local and remote area, by using the smart phone without an additional remote controller. CONSTITUTION: A lamp control system comprises a smart phone(100), a lamp control unit(200), and a LED lamp(300). In the smart phone an application, in which the control and status checking of the LED lamp by using the lamp control unit and the wireless communication is possible, is installed. The LED lamp performs an on/off and a dimming control by the lamp control unit. The lamp control unit is connected with the smart phone through a local area communication, controls the LED lamp in response to a control signal which is transmitted from the smart phone, and transmits a status checking signal of the LED lamp to the smart phone.
