A sealing device 2 for a shaft structure of a frame device, wherein in the frame device, in particular a vehicle window. The sealing device 2 having a sealing means 4 that can be arranged or is arranged at least partially on the wall element. The sealing device 2 further having at least one at least partially thermoplastic support element 8 that can be fixed on a vehicle structure of a motor vehicle, on which the sealing means 4 can be fixed and with at least one shape stabilizing means 10 for counteracting a temperature-dependent change in shape of the thermoplastic support element 8 and/or of the sealing means 4. Preferably shape-stabilising means can be in the form of glass fibre elements 20, U-shaped metal plate (22, Figure 2) which could be stainless steel or aluminium or strip-shaped metal parts (24, Figure 3). The sealing device may be formed by co-extrusion. |
