摘要 <p>An actuator arrangement (10, Figure 1), 100 is for a computer controlled positioning system. The arrangement includes at least one pair of rigid link members 12,120, each comprising a first end and a second end. At least two pivotal connectors 14, 140, 16, 160 are provided, one at each end of the rigid member. The first pivotal connector 14, 140 at the first end of each rigid member 12, 120 provides connection of the first end to a tooling device 18, 180, such as a laser cutter. The second pivotal connector 16, 160 at the second end of each rigid member 12, 120 provides connection of the second end to a guide member (24, Figure 1). The guide member is configured to facilitate single axis translational motion of the second end of each rigid member along a first x-axis. In use, displacement of the second end of each rigid member away or towards each other facilitates movement of the tooling device along a second y-axis. The arrangement may include more than one pair of rigid members and associated pivotal connectors.</p>
