PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which obtains a correct random number value. SOLUTION: When the execution of game control is to be started, the game machine reads numerical data form a random number value register and sets a corresponding random number latch flag to the off condition. By making a bit value in the bit number [4-3] of security time setting KSES a value other than "00", the game machine sets variable set time varying in a prescribed time range to a time component included in the security time. By making the bit value of a bit number [2-0] of the security time setting KSES a value other than "000", the game machine sets one from among a plurality of extended periods of time which can be preselected in addition to fixed time as a time component included in the security time.
