PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a control method of the same are provided to operate the mobile terminal based on touch input obtained through a touch pad and a sight direction of a user. CONSTITUTION: A control unit obtains touch input of a user through a touch pad. The control unit performs operation based on a sight direction of the user obtained by a first camera. The touch pad is arranged in a bezel area in an external side of a display. The touch pad includes a light emitting unit. The light emitting unit indicates the position of obtained touch input or a position requiring the touch input.
