PURPOSE: A display device and a manufacturing method of the display device can enhance adhesion force of an adhesion part for a flexible substrate and can prevent separation of flexible substrates. CONSTITUTION: A display device (10) comprises a first substrate (100), a second substrate (200), a pixel layer, and an adhesion part (400). The first substrate and the second substrate include fiber bundles in which the resin is dipped, and face each other. The pixel layer is formed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The adhesion part bonds adhesion areas given to the first substrate and the second substrate respectively and seals the pixel layer hermetically. In the adhesion area, an exposure area from which fiber bundles are exposed is present and the adhesion part bonds with an exposure area.
