PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device is provided to stably control the alignment of liquid crystal molecules by controlling the mixing ratio of dendrimer or dendron, according to the structure of a liquid crystal display device or kind of the dendrimer or dendron. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display, device which comprises a liquid crystal component, a liquid crystal layer with dendrimer or dendron with compatibility to the liquid crystal component, and a pair of substrates to surround the liquid crystal layer, comprises a step of mixing the dendrimer or dendron with the liquid crystal component to allow a concentration parameter represented by formula: X = A/B×t to be 1.0×10^(-4) or more. In the formula, A is a content of dendrimer or dendron(wt%), B is a molecular weight of the dendrimer or dendron, and t is a distance between the substrates(micron).
