PURPOSE: A method for forming a support pattern is provided to minimize the generation of defects when forming the pattern on a formed product forming a spacer grid. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming a support pattern includes: a step (S1) of forming holes at both sides of a plate material on which the pattern is to be formed; a step (S2) of preventing the deformation of the plate material with simultaneously chamfering the upper and the lower side of the outer circumference of a support pattern forming part, or simultaneously chamfering the outer circumference and the upper or the lower piece of the plate material; a step (S3) of allowing the pattern to protrude with forming the plate material between the holes; a step (S4) of tableting the plate material in order to prevent the deformation of a slot collinearly with the slot inside a section partitioned with a predetermined number; and a step (S5) of forming a slot for interconnecting formed products through a blanking process.
