PURPOSE: A locking device for a sliding window is provided to reduce manufacturing costs by reducing the number of components and to easily perform an installation work by improving the structure of a spindle shaft and a locking unit in a handle unit. CONSTITUTION: A locking device for a sliding window comprises a handle unit (100) and a locking unit (200). The handle unit is installed in the indoor side of a door frame, and a handle (120) is connected to the handle unit by a shaft (130) in order to be rotated at a predetermined angle. The locking unit is mounted on a rail (11) of a window frame (10) which is adjacent to the shaft of a handle when the door frame is closed, and the door frame is locked. |
