NOVEL PDMS-PVP BLOCK COPOLYMERS

摘要

Methods for preparation of functionalized polyvinylpyrrolidone with polymerizable functions and amphipathic polydimethylsiloxane-PVP block copolymers A (meth)acrylated polyvinylpyrrolidone compound and a (meth)acrylamide-functionalized polyvinylpyrrolidone structures are disclosed. The block copolymers are useful as biomaterial components in biomedical devices they provide improved wettability, lubricity, and material compatibility to the biomedical device, e.g, ophthalmic lenses.
