SYSTEM COMPRISING VIRTUAL KEYBOARD AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A vehicle system including a virtual keyboard and a control method are provided to fulfill the concept of safe driving and convenience for a user. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle system (100) including a virtual keyboard comprises a controller (130), a projector, an infrared light emitting unit, a sensor, and an output module (120). The controller enables the virtual keyboard in a first condition and disenables the virtual keyboard in a second condition. The projector radiates a virtual keyboard pattern on a vehicle steering wheel (140). The infrared light emitting unit detects the outside contact and the virtual keyboard pattern radiated on the vehicle steering wheel. The sensor calculates a predetermined position of the keyboard pattern in which the outside contact is comprised when the outside contact is detected. The output module outputs characters corresponding to the predetermined position of the keyboard pattern as a result of calculation of the sensor.
