PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing nanoporous silica using a filter medium is provided to improve the quality of nanoporous silica and to improve the eliminating efficiency of ions by shortening the aging time of the nanoporous silica. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing nanoporous silica includes a reacting bath and an aging bath(300). The reacting bath reacts sodium silicate and acid to generate a solid-liquid mixture. The aging bath solid-liquid separates the solid-liquid mixture to age silica. The aging bath includes a housing(310), an agitator(330), and a filter medium(350). The housing includes an internal space. A solid-liquid mixture inlet is formed at the upper side of the housing. An ionized water outlet and a silica outlet(315) are formed at the lower side of the housing. A temperature adjusting part is arranged at the housing. The agitator is installed in the housing. The filter medium is installed at the lower side of the housing and permeates ionized water from the solid-liquid mixture. |
