PURPOSE: A three-dimensional image display method and a display device for performing thereof are provided to increase the number of visual points of the three-dimensional image by the time division driving of an active barrier panel. CONSTITUTION: A control unit performs the time division driving of an active barrier panel (400) in a three-dimensional image mode in order to enable the active barrier panel to have the driving frequency of the m-time speed. The control unit emits n number of visual point images, which are indicated on the display panel, to (nxm) number of visual point positions. By the three-dimensional unit pixel (PU_3) which includes the red, green, and blue sub-pixels (R,G,B), which indicate the same visual point image exposed through an opening (OP) of the barrier unit (BU) in the three-dimensional image mode, the three-dimensional image of the (M/2)x (N/2) resolution is indicated. |
