PURPOSE: A compound is provided to have an excellent antibiotic activity to various organic materials which have resistance to β-lactam antibiotics. CONSTITUTION: A compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is indicated in chemical formula 3. The compound decreases an ATP-dependent-D-alanyl-D-alanine ligase activity. The pharmaceutical composition for preventing an infection comprises the compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable support thereof. The composition has an activity decreasing the cell wall synthesis of bacteria.
