PURPOSE: A washing type top-down floodgate is provided to prevent the malfunction of a floodgate driving facility and to guarantee smooth operation of a floodgate by conveniently removing deposition and sludge deposited in a lower floodgate chamber of a waterway on the ground. CONSTITUTION: A washing type top-down floodgate (10) is comprised of as follows. A water supply pipe (60) connected to an inlet (61) and a suction pipe (50) connected to a suction port (51) are installed in the inner lower side of a floodgate chamber (30). The inlet and the suction port are extended to the ground, and a suction pump is connected to the suction pipe. The water supply pipe is connected to an upstream waterway (21). The water flowing in the water supply pipe is discharged through the inlet and is drown to the suction port in order to be discharged through the suction pipe according to operation of the suction pump. |
