PURPOSE: A free auction system using points and an auction method are provided to enable a consumer to accumulate points whenever the consumer watches an advertisement, thereby enabling the consumer to participate in an auction service for a desired product by using the points. CONSTITUTION: A set of question information is provided to a consumer terminal after finishing an advertisement (S100). After watching the advertisement selected by a consumer, the consumer inputs a set of answer information for the question information (S200). Points are deducted at a constant ratio whenever the response information corresponds to a set of correct answer information and are then accumulated (S300). A consumer participates in an auction service by using the points (S400). The consumer obtains an auctioned product by deducting the points (S500). The consumer who participates in the last bidding obtains the auctioned product.
