METHOD FOR REMOTELY CONTROLLING NAVIGATION USING SMART PHONE

PURPOSE: A navigation system remote controlling method using a smart phone is provided to enable a smart phone user to share moving routes with other users who have a navigation system by interlocking a navigation system and a smart phone. CONSTITUTION: A navigation system remote controlling method using a smart phone is as follows. A remote control program is installed on a navigation system (100) and a smart phone (200); and an interlocking authentication is performed. The navigation system transmits a route search request and a destination to the smart phone when the navigation system and the smart phone interlock after the interlocking authentication is performed. The smart phone which is input with the destination performs the rout search for the destination. The route to the destination which is searched by the smart phone is transmitted through a data communication network to the navigation system. The navigation system which receives the route to the destination performs a route guidance service.
