摘要 A method of manufacturing an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to reduce the quantity of sealant consumed to manufacture the LCD, prevent poor rubbing, arrange LCD panels having various sizes on a single mother substrate to use the mother substrate efficiently, and maintain a uniform cell gap between LCD panels having different sizes. A pair of mother substrates is provided. A plurality of first LCD panels having first display regions(225A,225B,225C,225D) with a first size and a plurality of second LCD panels having second display regions(225A',225B',225C',225D',225E',225F') with a second size are arranged on the mother substrates. A first seal pattern(240A,240B,240C,240D) having a first width is formed at the edge of each of the first display regions and a second seal pattern(240A',240B',240C',240D',240E',240F') having a second width is formed at the edge of each of the second display regions. The mother substrates are bonded to each other. The bonded mother substrates are cut and split into the plurality of first LCD panels and the plurality of second LCD panels.
