PURPOSE: An object region searching method using feature point group comparisons is provided to search an object by comparing feature point descriptor groups extracted from segregated regions of an input data and feature point descriptor groups extracted from a reference image, thereby reducing the amount of calculations. CONSTITUTION: A terminal searches more than one segmented region out of segmented regions of an input image for more than one feature point descriptor, and generates a feature point descriptor group by combining more than one feature point descriptor which is found (S402). If there is a feature point descriptor group of any region out of the segmented regions which corresponds to one of feature point descriptor groups of a reference image which is previously studied, the terminal searches the target object region by combining one region and another region among the segmented regions (S403, S404).
