摘要 PURPOSE: A buffering-mooring type velocity and wave measurement device is provided to precisely measure the velocity, the wave height, a wave direction, and a cycle of a river and the sea without a fixed structure or a ship. CONSTITUTION: A buffering-mooring type velocity and wave measurement device includes a gradual contraction (11), an opening, a sensor, and buffering portions (15). The gradual contraction is arranged on an end portion of a buoy (10) floating in the water. A cross-section of the gradual contraction is gradually decreased so that a sharp portion is formed on an end portion of the gradual contraction. The opening vertically penetrates through the buoy from the center of the buoy. The sensor is installed on the opening, thereby measuring the velocity and waves of a downstream of the buoy. The buoy moors so that the gradual contraction is arranged in the upstream. The buffering portions are installed on the surface of the gradual contraction of the buoy and absorb impact in case of a collision with the flow impurities.
