PURPOSE: A code tracking method for a sine phase binary offset carrier signal is provided to reliably implement BOC signal synchronization and to reduce an error in distance measurement of a next generation satellite navigation system. CONSTITUTION: A code tracking method for a sine phase binary offset carrier signal generates sub-correlation signals forming an autocorrelation function of a BOC signal. The code tracking method for a sine phase binary offset carrier signal generates a correlation function having a single peak by combining two sub-correlation functions of the generated sub-correlation functions. The code tracking method for a sine phase binary offset carrier signal generates correlation functions by combining the two sub-correlation functions. The code tracking method for a sine phase binary offset carrier signal generates a correlation function having no side peak by combining the correlation functions by combining the correlation function having single peak and the correlation function by combining two correlation functions. The code tracking method for a sine phase binary offset carrier signal tracks a code using the generated correlation function having no side peak.
