PURPOSE: A receptacle connector which has a waterproof structure is provided to completely perform the waterproof of the outside of a receptacle shell by the injection molding, thereby preventing the moisture from penetrating inside the corresponding portable electronic devices through the connector. CONSTITUTION: A receptacle connector includes a receptacle insulator, a plurality of contact, a receptacle shell, and a waterproof shell (200). The plurality of contact is installed at the receptacle insulator. The receptacle shell surrounds the receptacle insulator. The waterproof shell surrounds the outside of the receptacle shell and provides the waterproof function. A sealing member (211) is assembled in a ring shaped annular groove which is formed on the edge circumference of the front part of the waterproof shell.
