PURPOSE: A female member for a quick connector is provided to obtain a simple structure and to easily assembly the connector by inserting an elastic spring in which a rib is equipped into the outer circumference surface of a female member body. CONSTITUTION: A female member for a quick connector comprises a female member body (200). The female member body is installed to surround the outer circumference by an elastic spring (210) in which a rib (211) transferring along the outer circumference surface is equipped. The elastic spring includes a plurality of protrusion units (212) with a predetermined interval to be protruded in an inner space of the female member body at the predetermined position. The female member body includes a slit (220) which is formed to insert each protrusion unit. The distance of both ends in the slit is formed to be short as following to a central side of the female member body and a recessed groove (230) is formed to settle the edge of the protrusion unit between the neighboring slits.
