<p>The shock absorber has a piston (2) for separating a working chamber into compression and expansion chambers (3, 4). A valve (1) includes a movable element i.e. hollow rod (12), for realizing sliding of the piston in direction opposite to one of the chambers at a determined sliding portion under the pressure effect applied in the chamber. The element maintains airtight separation of fluids in the chambers, and releases a passage in the valve in another determined sliding portion such that the fluid in one of the chambers flows in the other chamber via the passage. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a body shell, a running gear and a hydraulic shock absorber.</p> |
