PURPOSE: A viewer location tracking method and a display device using thereof are provided to locate both eyes of the viewer in an optimal watching distance, which is predetermined by the display device, by using the view point tracking, thereby effectively watching the stereo-scopic image. CONSTITUTION: A view point tracking system (210) tracks the location of both eyes of a viewer who watches the stereo-scopic image, and calculates the location information of the both eyes based on a first watching location. A display unit (300) includes a first area, which indicates the stereo-scopic image, and a second area, which is overlapped with the first area. The second area indicates a first watching location screen, which indicates the first watching location, and an indicating screen, which indicates the location information of both eyes.
