摘要 PURPOSE: Bacillus sp. CS-52 strain and a culture thereof are provided to effectively prevent anthracnose and to promote the growth of Capsicum annum. CONSTITUTION: Bacillus sp. CS-52 strain (KCTC 12078BP) prevents plant diseases. A microorganism formulation for biological prevention of pathogenic fungi in Capsicum annuum contains a culture liquid containing the strain as an active ingredient. The strain is cultured in a medium containing 0.5 % of glucose, 0.7 % of K_2HPO_4, 0.2 % of KH_2PO_4, 0.3 % of NH_4NO_3, 0.01 % of MnSO_4·7H_2O, and 0.15 % of a yeast extract at pH 7 and 30 °C. A method for preventing plant diseases comprises the step of treating plants or an environment where the plants grow with the culture liquid.
