A STEEL GRATING

PURPOSE: A steel grating is provided to promptly drain a great deal of water at a rapid fluid velocity by bumping the same into a protruding support frame. CONSTITUTION: A steel grating comprises a support frame (10) and a drain cover (20). The drain cover comprises a bearing bar (21), a pair of end bars (22,23), and a cross bar (24). The upper end of the bearing bar is downwardly inclined from one end to the other end. The height of the other end is smaller than the height of one end in the upper end of the bearing bar. The upper side of the support frame is protruding to the upper side of the upper end of the bearing bar when the drain cover is inserted into the support frame. The drain cover comprises a pair of partitions (26,27) separated from each other and a slot (25) in between the partitions.
