PURPOSE: A battery module with excellent cooling efficiency is provided to be easy to produce by including a cooling case allowing sub-module and liquid cooling medium to flow. CONSTITUTION: A battery module (1000) includes a sub module (100) with multiple battery cells (110) and a battery cases (130), a cooling case (200) allowing sub-module and liquid cooling medium to flow and a heat exchanger (220) perpendicularly positioned on cooling plate (210). The sub-module has more buffer material loaded between the battery cells and is inserted between the heat exchanger and the cooling case to change heat. The cooling case is inside of the cooling plate and positioned in one or more cooling channels cooling medium flows and one side of the cooling plate. The cooling medium is liquid.
