It is provided a storage device (1) defining at least one rest surface (1 a) adapted to receive a plurality of items and comprising: a self-supporting structure (10) confining an inner volume (1b) and including a shelf defining the rest surface (1a), and a plurality of supporting columns (4) defining an inner chamber (4a) adapted to receive a diffuser apparatus (6) at least partly, which inner chamber (4a) has a slit (4c) adapted to enable said diffuser apparatus (6) to sanitise the inner volume (1b), said supporting columns (4) being adapted to support the shelf and having at least one abutment means (4b) for securing at least one side panel (5) through a front interlocking coupling to said self-supporting structure (10), and in particular the abutment means (4b) allowing the side panel (5) to be fitted into or pulled out of the abutment means itself (4b) through a movement adapted to move the side panel (5) close to or away from the centre of gravity of the self-supporting or containment structure (10) along a substantially rectilinear fitting direction (5a). |
