A local forwarding method for user plane data comprises: upon being triggered, a level 1 data node determining whether a direct tunnel can be established for a source user equipment and a target user equipment, and if yes, establishing a direct tunnel between a level 2 source data node and a level 2 target data node for the source user equipment and the target user equipment; upon receiving a data packet sent by the source user equipment to the target user equipment, the level 2 source data node forwarding the data packet to the level 2 target data node through the direct tunnel between the level 2 source data node and the level 2 target data node, so that the level 2 target data node forwards the data packet to the target user equipment. |
