A power grid is stabilized using a plurality of electric storage systems arranged in a dispersed manner. A plurality of electric storage systems (10) are provided in a power grid. The electric storage systems (10) are connected to a management system (60) via a communication network (CN1). Each of the electric storage systems comprises electric storage devices (11, 12) and a control device (100) for controlling the electric storage devices. The control device stores performance information indicating the performance of the system, position information indicating the position of the system on a power grid, and order information indicating the activating order of the system. When a disturbance occurs in the power grid, the control device executes a predetermined compensating action on the basis of the position information and order information, and returns to a pre-established standby state after the compensating action has ended. |
