<p>Provided is a cache device for sequentially improving, within the limitations of the cache capacity, an amount of improvement in a response time and a user-perceived speed. The cache device (2) holds content acquired from a server (a center storage device (3)) and provides the content to a user terminal (1), the cache device being provided with a cache storage unit (26) for holding the content provided to the user terminal (1) as a cache, a cache control means (a cache priority determination unit (22), a content attribute determination unit (23), a local network status measurement unit (24) and a global network status measurement unit (25)), and a cache replacement unit (21) for replacing content being cached by the cache storage unit (26) with newly stored content.</p> |
