PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for accurately and quickly distributing the predetermined number of items in each group.SOLUTION: A conveyer 120 which conveys a plurality of items 116 toward an image pickup device is operated, and the items 116 are arrayed in a single layer, and conveyed in parallel, and the image pickup device is operated in order to continuously grasp the image of an area just under an edge part 128 of the conveyer 120 such that the items 116 dropping from the conveyer 120 are recorded in an image within an orbit, and the image is processed in a real time in order to continuously determine the number of the dropping items 116, and while the number of the dropping items 116 is continuously determined until the items 116 do not drop from the conveyer 120 with inertia, the conveyer 120 is stopped before the number of the dropping items 116 reaches the predetermined number, and the additional quantity of items 116 are automatically distributed in order to satisfy the predetermined number of items 116. |
