摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to, even under a state where a synchronous motor is mounted on a vehicle, calibrate an angle sensor with a less number of times of execution of the calibration.SOLUTION: A method includes: a step 100 for determining at which quadrant of a true dp coordinate system a d-axis current vector is positioned; a step 104 for setting vectors obtained by calibrating a d-axis current vector at offset angles of two current vectors as a first and second range delimitation vectors, respectively; a step 108 for applying a current of an intermediate vector calibrated using a mean value of the offset angles to a synchronous motor; steps 114 and 116 for determining to which direction the synchronous motor rotates and selecting a range delimitation vector, out of the first and second range delimitation vectors, which is on a rotation direction side; a step for repeating the steps 106 to 116 by setting the range delimitation vector on the rotation direction side and the latest determined intermediate vector as new first and second range delimitation vectors; and a step for setting an intermediate vector at the time when the synchronous motor stops rotating as a true d-axis current vector.
