PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a masking film.SOLUTION: A masking film comprises an adhesion layer and a release layer, the release layer comprising a release surface having a plurality of three-dimensional protrusions. The three-dimensional protrusions are integral extensions of the release layer. The three-dimensional protrusions comprise protrusions in the shape of cones, the protrusions having a vertex. The vertex is oriented in a direction away from the adhesion layer. A region below the vertex of the protrusion includes a void. The adhesive layer forms a cohesive single layer that does not follow the protrusions of the release layer. The adhesive layer comprises: polyethylene; and polyolefin selected from a group comprising metallocene polyethylene, metallocene polypropylene, and a metallocene copolymer containing a monomer unit derived from ethylene and propylene, and their mixture. |
