PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent operation failures caused by mechanical wear in a switchgear device in advance.SOLUTION: The switchgear device comprises a pair of contacts 12, 14, and a drive mechanism 22 of a support arm 16 of a first contact 14 to evaluate mechanical performance of a switchgear device, and the drive mechanism 22 comprises a rotary pole shaft 20, at least one rod 60 which connects the drive mechanism 22 to the support arm 16, and an energy storage system designed to cause movement of the arm to get close to the contacts 12, 14. The method includes the steps of: measuring the angle of rotation of the pole shaft 20 while the contacts 12, 14 are closed; reconstituting at least two specific values from the measurements; and comparing the specific values with an operating reference to diagnose the mechanical wear performances of the drive mechanism 22 according to a comparative state. |
