PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adiponectin production promoter which has high safety, can be used also as food and drink and has an excellent adiponectin production promotion effect.SOLUTION: The adiponectin production promoter includes at least either panaxatriol or panaxadiol. At least either the panaxatriol or panaxadiol is, preferably, the sapogenin of Araliaceae Panax ginseng obtained by subjecting Araliaceae Panax ginseng to hydrolysis treatment in the presence of an acid aqueous solution of 0.01 to 4 mol/L and lower alcohol. |
