PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tap collet that can degenerate a tap.SOLUTION: The tap collet 50 constituted of a tap collet head part 1 attached to a tap holder body and a movable tap holding part 2, one end of which is fitted to the tap collet head part 1 and to the other end of which a tap performing screwing work is attached includes a rotation force transmitting steel ball 3 transmitting rotation from the tap collet head part 1 to the movable tap holding part 2, a contraction spring 5 which is provided in the tap collet head part 1, whose one end abuts on the movable tap holding part 2, the other end of which abuts on a washer 6 pushed by a stopping ring 7 of the tap collet head part 1, which is contracted when a tap receives a load pushed back from the matter to be worked to slide the movable tap holding part 2, a tap holding bush 8 attached to the movable tap holding part 2 and holding a tap with a tap holding clamp steel ball 9 and a bush pushing spring 10 energizing to the tap holding bush 8 and maintaining a holding state of the tap. |
