The method for generating a tomographic image may involve: detecting a principal frequency region corresponding to a portion of a frequency data corresponding to a tomographic image, determining a plurality of sub frequency regions within the principal frequency region, and generating, by a processor, the tomographic image by synthesizing data of the plurality of sub frequency regions.
