PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage element that allows large tolerance so as to enabling an easy production thereof at low cost.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 comprises: a case 30; an electrode body 11; an electrode terminal 23; a collector 12; and an inner insulation sealing material 13 for insulating the case 30 from the collector 12. The case 30 comprises: a projecting portion 21 formed as a result of outward projection of a part of the case 30 outer wall; and a recess portion 21x formed at a position within the case 30 inner wall corresponding to the projecting portion 21 as a result of the projecting portion 21 being formed. The recess portion 21x comprises: an outermost bottom surface 21y; and an inner surface that is continuously formed between the bottom surface 21y and the case 30 inner wall, at least a part of the inner surface being inclined in the projecting direction of the projecting portion 21. The inner insulation sealing material 13 is disposed between the collector 12 and the recess portion 21x of the case 30, and comprises a first side wall portion that is parallel to at least a part of the inner surface of the recess portion 21x. |
