PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-ion secondary battery which has low internal resistance and high cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: The present invention is applied to a lithium-ion secondary battery in which a cathode plate, an anode plate, and an electrolyte are housed in a battery case. The cathode plate has a cathode active material layer. An active material contained in the cathode active material layer of the lithium-ion secondary battery of the present invention is represented by general formula LiNiMgMnTiO(0.01≤X≤0.10, 0.01≤Y≤0.10, 0≤α, 0≤&bgr;, X+Y=α+&bgr;). |
