PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device and an electric pump unit which are able to minimize heat generation and noise by suppressing over power, and which can accommodate even load change.SOLUTION: A control circuit 21 includes an over power suppression control means 32 for suppressing over power by reducing a current command value from a higher-level ECU 19. A control signal output means 31 adds a reduction amount for a current command value obtained by the over power suppression control means 32 to a current command value from the higher-level ECU 19 to thus obtain a motor control signal. The over power suppression control means 32 includes a hydraulic pressure estimation part 34 for estimating hydraulic pressure and a current command value correction amount computation part 35 for comparing target hydraulic pressure with estimated hydraulic pressure to output a reduction amount for the current command value. Load information about relative magnitude relation of loads of a pump 3 is configured to be input to the control circuit 21 from the higher-level ECU 19. In the over power suppression control means 32, the target hydraulic pressure is configured to be switched correspondingly to different load information. |
