PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency induction heating coil by which easy adjustment of a position of a burning boundary and a depth of a quench-hardened layer around the burning boundary is achieved and which has high durability.SOLUTION: The high frequency induction heating coil used for high frequency quenching treatment includes one main heating conductor 3 and two auxiliary heating conductors 4 which are annularly formed, wherein the inner diameter d2 of the auxiliary heating conductors 4 is larger than the inner diameter d1 of the main heating conductor 3. The high frequency induction heating coil 2 is structured, in which two auxiliary heating conductors 4 are connected to each other in parallel, the auxiliary heating conductors 4 are arranged alongside on both sides in the thickness direction of the main heating conductor 3 respectively, and the main heating conductor 3 and two auxiliary heating conductors 4 are serially connected, so that a current I1 of the main heating conductor 3 and the currents I2 of two auxiliary heating conductors 4 flow in the same circumferential direction. |
